Christmas comes early this year with Bill Bryson's return

Author Bill Bryson says he loves retirement.

But ... he's releasing another book late this year.

The Guardian reports that The Secret History of Christmas is a novella-length audiobook, to be released on November 10.

Bryson himself will narrate the book discussing the reasons behind several Christmas traditions.

Bryson is known for such books as Notes From A Small Island, Notes From A Big Country, The Body, A Walk In The Woods, and The Lost Continent.
