The 2022 Booker Prize shortlist, in performance

Unsurprisingly, the Guardian has excerpts to share from all six Booker Prize shortlisted novels.

However, rather than read them, you're invited to have them read to you.

Kevin Thomas directed six performers — a mix of actors and musicians — in the readings.

The videos of Booker-nominated novel excerpts are embedded in the Guardian's post.

The winner of the £50,000 ($69,000) purse will be revealed October 17.
