Congratulations (belatedly) to Katherine Rundell, who has won the 2022 Baillie Gifford Prize for Nonfiction!

Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne took a decade and three drafts to write, says the Guardian, but the effort was clearly worth it — the prize purse is £50,000 (about $6,000).

Judges praised the book for its style and substance, with the chair noting that Rundell "makes an irresistible case for Donne’s work to be widely read 400 years later."
