Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is writing a memoir.

There isn't a release date yet for Lovely One, which takes its name from the meaning behind Jackson's first and middle name (Ketanji Onyika).

There also weren't any details on the financial side of the deal, but the Associated Press thinks it's safe to speculate that her advance is "at least comparable" to some seven-figure deals of Jackson's colleagues.

In the announcement for Lovely One, Jackson promised that it would share not just the public details of her life, but also the private ones.

"It will be a transparent accounting of what it takes to rise through the ranks of the legal profession," she said, "especially as a woman of color with an unusual name and as a mother and a wife striving to reconcile the demands of a high-profile career with the private needs of my loved ones.”
