A proposed "It Ends With Us" coloring book is quickly cancelled

Sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping for a Colleen Hoover-themed coloring book.

The bestselling author and her publisher revealed, and then retracted, plans for a coloring book inspired by It Ends With Us this week.

Internet users, including Hoover fans, expressed dismay over the choice, given that It Ends With Us focuses on an abusive relationship.

Both Hoover and Altria, in posts that announced the book's cancellation, thanked its objectors for their feedback and respectful discourse.
