See the first two covers from Roxane Gay's imprint

Roxane Gay got to reveal the first two covers from the new publishing imprint that bears her name yesterday.

They belong to the books And Then He Sang a Lullaby by Ani Kayode Somtochukwu and Lush Lives by J.V. Lyon.

While Gay will take credit for commissioning the designer, she says that's about all that she did besides sending "very vague ideas" along with the manuscripts.

That designer, Rodrigo Corral, shared some of his creative process with Gay; you can read that and view the covers at Literary Hub.
