The 2010 novel Room is being adapted for a visual medium, again.
Author Emma Donoghue wrote the screenplay for the 2015 movie based off her bestselling novel, and now, she's also written a stage adaptation, reports The New York Times.
The Broadway production of Room will open April 17.
Room is the story of a woman held captive by a sexual predator, but told through the viewpoint of her child, who was conceived and born during that captivity; it was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, among other honors.
