Part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of Susan Sontag is being adapted for the screen.
Screen Daily reports that four chapters of Sontag: Her Life and Work by Ben Moser will become a movie starring Kristen Stewart as the writer, philosopher, and political activist.
Kirsten Johnson will direct the biopic and co-write the screenplay; filming is expected to take place this year.
Sontag wrote several novels and short stories, including Death Kit and the National Book Award-winning In America, in addition to her acclaimed essay collections, such as the career-launching Against Interpretation.
