Actress Jessica Chastain is going big in her return to the stage after years on screen.

She's starring as Nora in a revival of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll's House — but not just any production.

Instead, this "pared-down" version skips props and costumes and has a sparse set, placing even more demands on the people bringing the story to life.

But, The New York Times says, it's obvious that Chastain relishes the challenge.

Chastain dishes on her emotions about returning to the play and how she sees Nora fitting into the gender tensions of today in an interview with the NY Times.
