Read a review of the musical version of "The Outsiders"

Did you know that S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders has become a musical?

Well, it has, and it made its world premiere earlier this month at La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego.

The Los Angeles Times review of The Outsiders musical is up on Yahoo!, for anyone who wants to read it.

But if you just want the CliffsNotes version, here it is: The book is (duh) still best, but the stage version shines in its own right, too (unlike, in the reviewer's opinion, the movie adaptation).
