As if there's not enough drama in the book world ...
A right-wing provocateur with a history of disruptive behavior in stores was kicked out of a Barnes & Noble recently, reports Metro Weekly.
Ethan Schmidt-Crockett of Arizona was filming himself harassing people near a Pride display in the bookstore (which branch is unclear) when a store manager intervened and asked him to leave.
Most of his anger was directed at the LGBTQ+ community, though he also questioned passers-by about their COVID vaccination status.
Earlier this year, Schmidt-Crockett also filmed himself in a bookstore's Black history section, claiming that some of the books promote racism and complaining that there isn't a white history section.
