As you've surely heard, a documentary about the author of many beloved middle-grade books (as well as some adult fiction), Judy Blume, has come out on Amazon Prime.

And also as you've heard, her books have been frequently challenged over the years.

So these two recent posts pair especially well with each other.

In one, the author and one director of the documentary Judy Blume Forever talk with NPR's Mary Louise Kelly about her impact over the years ... including, yes, a reference to what it felt like to be the target of book challenges and bans.

In the other, the website Distractify looks at the reasons some of Blume's books have been targeted over the years as she became one of the most frequently challenged authors in the US.
