June is Pride Month, so we're glad to share two NPR interviews with authors of new LGBTQ+ nonfiction.

The quicker read is the conversation with Amelia Possanza about her May 30 release, Lesbian Love Story: A Memoir In Archives.

Possanza shares how she came to decide to write a book about seven mostly obscure — but real-life — lesbian couples in seven different historical eras in her conversation with Julie Depenbrock.

The longer read is actor Elliot Page's appearance on Fresh Air to promote his memoir, Pageboy, which hit bookshelves yesterday.

Page, as many of you may remember, experienced gender dysphoria for several years before coming out as a transgender man in 2020.
