You've probably seen somewhere in the news that the real-life story behind The Blind Side (a movie based off a book) has become less than warm-and-fuzzy.

The neutral assessment of it is that Michael Oher, the football player whose youth is at the center of the story, says he never agreed to sell it and that he made no money off of it — in contrast to author Michael Lewis and the couple who took him in.

Lewis, for his part, defends Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy, the latter of whom was his friend before he even wrote the book.

But, as The New York Times notes, there are clues of the present legal battles in Oher's two memoirs.
