Two stories on novels and novelists finding their way into other spheres ...

Author Kazuo Ishiguro will publish a collection of his song lyrics next year.

The author best known for Never Let Me Go, The Remains of the Day, and Klara and the Sun explains that he began his writing career with songs, not fiction.

The Summer We Crossed Europe in the Rain: Lyrics for Stacey Kent will come out March 7 and feature illustrations in addition to the songs.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the TV adaptation of Lessons in Chemistry has dropped.

Brie Larson will play chemist Elizabeth Zott in the Apple TV+ adaptation of Bonnie Garmus's bestselling novel.
