There’s no shortage of celebrity book clubs, but a relative newcomer to the field has emerged as the “it” bookworm: Jenna Bush Hager.

One of the twin daughters of former President George W. Bush, Hager launched her Read With Jenna picks in March, when she became a TODAY show co-host.

In just a few months, says Entertainment Weekly, she’s become the endorser that the publishing industry most covets.

Hager and the books she pick are certainly benefiting from a huge platform — 4 million people watch TODAY each morning — but she’s also putting in the sweat equity needed to suggest the right novel to a diverse audience.

EW shares a glimpse of her selection process and breaks down the rest of her winning formula, in a profile of Hager and the Read With Jenna club.
