It seems only natural that the first-ever national youth poet laureate would become one of the youngest inaugural poets.

Twenty-two-year-old Amanda Gorman will read “The Hill We Climb” at Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration on Wednesday.

Officials told Gorman that Jill Biden recommended her and that she was encouraged to focus on unity and hope, Gorman told The Associated Press.
