We'll have a new book from Jack Kerouac later this year.
Desolation Peak, a collection of the author's writings from when he worked as a fire lookout for the US Forest Service, is expected out November 8.
Literary Hub reports that it's a joint project between the Jack Kerouac Estate and independent press Rare Bird Books.
Desolation Peak, named after the mountain where Kerouac worked, will contain his journal, fiction, poems, sketches, and dreams.
