Those of you who knew you wanted to watch the Game of Thrones spinoff show don't need this post.

But some of you might still be on the fence.

And in that case, NPR's Glen Weldon might be of service.

His job, years ago, was to do recaps of Game of Thrones episodes, a job that elicited a lot of feedback.

He heard from people who had never watched the show, who had abruptly stopped watching, and who were reluctantly still watching, in addition to those who were still happily watching.

(Well, maybe "happy" is the wrong word.)

And all that feedback made Weldon suspect he's equipped to advise people unsure of whether they should start watching HBO's House of Dragon, which premiered last weekend, based on their thoughts on Game of Thrones.
