We missed this news last month, but better late than never.
Apparently, the author of a Lord of the Rings fan fiction novel is suing Amazon and the Tolkien estate over the new TV show The Rings of Power.
Demetrious Polychron wants $250 million for what he says is copyright infringement on his novel, The Fellowship Of The King.
That book, by the way, used to be for sale on Amazon. Used to be.
