Author and YouTube star Hank Green is fighting cancer

Author Hank Green announced on his popular YouTube channel that he has Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The good news, he says, is that "it’s one of the most treatable cancers."

Green began chemotherapy on Friday, the same day he made his announcement, and expects it to continue for at least four months.

Green first came to fame through his YouTube channel, Vlogbrothers, which he launched with his elder brother John (yes, that John Green).

He later wrote two bestselling novels, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing (inspired by his internet fame) and A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor.
