Whether we’ve met them or not, it can be hard to imagine our great-grandparents as participants in a turbulent love story.

When said ancestors are famous — one of them a writer — that task becomes slightly less strenuous.

Blake Hazard, the great-granddaughter of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, describes how she sees the pair reflected in the characters of Tender Is The Night, in a foreword to the novel.
