Save the date for the TV premiere of "The Underground Railroad"

There is finally a premiere date for the limited-series adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s The Underground Railroad.

Literary Hub reports that the ten-episode series will appear on Amazon Prime Video on May 14.

Another trailer has also been unveiled; you can watch it below or on YouTube.

Whitehead’s 2016 novel won both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award; it tells the story of Cora, who escapes life as a slave on a Georgia plantation via an actual underground railroad.
