Italian author Federico Moccia didn’t invent the idea of leaving locks on bridges as a signal of love, but his novels accelerated the action’s popularity.
And now, those books are headed into English for the first time.
Moccia's YA romance trilogy has sold 10 million copies globally, reports the New York Times, and those numbers are sure to increase: One Step to You has just come out in English after serving as the basis of the Netflix series Summertime.
Two Chances With You will follow on October 5, and then Three Times You comes out in 2022.
Head to the New York Times to meet Moccia and learn about his inspiration for the novels.
