The White Review Short Story Prize revealed its winner last week: “The Chicken,” by RZ Baschir.
But the good news for readers is that they can read not just the top story, but all of the finalists for this award for emerging writers.
To be considered for the award, an author must live in Britain or Ireland and not have a publishing deal yet.
The winner receives £2,500 ($3,426).
