Stanley Tucci’s new memoir contains the recipe for his beloved grandmother’s equally beloved pasta sauce.

That said, if you’re looking for specific and serious instructions, Taste: My Life Through Food is not the place.

Instead, it features invitations to improvise and reminisce about eccentric and much-loved relatives.
