Start saving up: the late author Joan Didion's estate is headed to auction.

The collection goes on sale November 16 and includes fine art, furniture, decorations, cookware, books, and other items from her apartment.

Architectural Digest has a comprehensive preview of the Didion collection, but if you hit a paywall, Literary Hub has a quick rundown.

An unspecified charitable organization will benefit from the auction.

Didion, author of Slouching Toward Bethlehem and The Year of Magical Thinking, died last December at age eighty-seven.
