Save the date: Curtis Sittenfeld's "Romantic Comedy" is out in April

Sorry to be that person who wants to fast-forward seasons ... but Curtis Sittenfeld has a new novel coming out in April, so bring on spring!

Romantic Comedy stars Sally, who writes for a late-night comedy show and who has no expectations of finding love.

Given that premise and the title, you know what's going to happen, right?

But first: Sally's co-worker Danny, who's an average Joe, begins dating a Hollywood starlet.

Another cliché, right? Sally mocks this trend in a sketch ... only to find herself, not long afterwards, the romantic interest of a sexy celebrity.

Romantic Comedy officially hits shelves April 11.
