The speculation was correct: Author Michael Lewis will, in fact, be writing about embattled cryptocurrency exchange founder Sam Bankman-Fried.
The Guardian reports that Going Infinite: the Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon, about FTX's Sam Bankman-Fried, will come out October 3.
The rise and fall of Bankman-Fried — from world's youngest billionaire to alleged fraudster — seems perfect for Lewis, whose previous works include The Big Short and Flash Boys.
That said, Lewis told the Guardian that he's had an inside look at Bankman-Fried's life since well before his fortunes took a tumble.
Bankman-Fried, says Lewis, has let him see everything and has allowed him total freedom in their many conversations — two things that Lewis says are quite unusual.
