Great news for those of us living outside Latin America: the previously unpublished Gabriel García Márquez novel set to release there in 2024 will also go global.

Literary Hub reports, citing Publishers Weekly, that Alfred A. Knopf will publish Until August (En Agosto Nos Vemos) as part of a simultaneous global release in 2024.

Anne McLean will translate the book, which has yet to have a public release date (that we're aware of), from Spanish into English.

Plot details are sparse, but we do know that the short book contains five separate sections centered on Ana Magdalena Bach, a middle-aged woman in previous published work from Marquez who has an affair on a tropical island.
