We have news on the 2019 Not The Booker Prize and speculation on the 2020 Booker Prize.

For the former: The Guardian’s judges revealed their three picks to complete the Not The Booker shortlist.

Spring (by Ali Smith), Flames (by Robbie Arnott), and Supper Club (by Lara Williams) have joined The Unauthorised Biography of Ezra MaasPlease Read This Leaflet Carefully, and Skin, selected through reader votes.

For the latter: A source says Lee Child has been invited to join the 2020 Booker judging panel.

Andy Martin, who wrote a book about his time with the author famous for his Jack Reacher novels, made this claim to the Sunday Times.

Booker officials declined to comment on anything regarding the 2020 prize, according to the Bookseller, which expects judges for that year to be announced in December.
