We’ve all faced rejection at some point, no matter whether we’ve sought publication (or in what form).

Author Lyra Selene, whose first novel is being published by Scholastic this fall, is no exception.

She shares her struggles in a column at Writer’s Digest, not to reassure you that you too can find a traditional publisher, but rather to highlight the value of persevering at whatever it is you seek.
