Author Jane Delury recently shared a simple trick to use if you feel stuck while writing.

(For that matter, both of us have found its principle to be awfully handy in other ways, too.)

Put away your manuscript and pick up someone else’s writing that you admire. Focus on one of the sentences within it that you love.

And then work on writing your own perfect sentence, regardless of content or subject matter.

Read why this trick works on Delury's website.
