We often ask our authors to provide us a one-sentence or one-paragraph description of the book they’re promoting.

So it’s only fair that in return, we offer advice on how to squish your labor of love into that tight box.

Writer’s Digest has a primer on writing these (as a route to longer synopses), and we'd be remiss if we didn't plug the advice Beth Bacon gave us to share as well.
