This might be the easiest grammar tip we ever share.

“A lot” is always correct; “alot” never is.

Writer’s Digest editor Robert Lee Brewer shared this reminder, along with a handy trick for remembering: “A lot” is the opposite of “a little.”

And no one ever tries to write “alittle,” right?
