You would think that a statistic as the average number of words on a Kindle page would be readily accessed.

And you wouldn’t necessarily be wrong, but Dave Chesson found that there are in fact too many averages and estimates out there — anywhere from 200 to 500 words.

So he turned to his email subscribers to collect their data and come up with something more concrete for a variety of Amazon-related uses.
