Nate Hoffelder has a friendly reminder to authors outside of Europe selling their books there: the value-added tax rate has changed in many countries.

The United Kingdom’s change early this year drew plenty of attention, but Hoffelder notes that Austria, Spain, and Germany are among the several countries that have reduced (temporarily, in some cases) the VAT.
