An author recently emailed us about an upcoming promotion, in a bit of a panic.
He had planned to reduce his price to 99 cents and submitted to us accordingly, but because of his file size, Amazon would only let him discount to $2.99.
This writer wasn’t alone in being caught off-guard by these limits, though.
Author Russell Phillips discovered, on the eve of a sale, that his discounting abilities were limited by his book size.
So in the spirit of helping others, he posted a reminder on Author Help about the Kindle file size discount limits, with a link to the KDP price requirements page.
