Writer’s Digest has been asking co-writing duos to describe how they’ve made their partnerships work.

Most recently up: Simon Turney and Gordon Doherty, co-authors of the novel Sons of Rome.

They shared five tips for building continuity in a co-written novel, all of which reinforce the necessity of preparation (in their eyes, anyway).
