You may have some preconceptions — and misconceptions — about hybrid publishing.

Author Barbara Linn Probst readily admits she did, and that’s coming from someone who has twice used a hybrid press.

So she decided to create a guide to what a hybrid publisher is, based on her own research, and to why an author might choose to use one, based on a survey of ten writers, to empower any writer to make the right choice regarding them.

Her hybrid-publishing guide is available at Jane Friedman’s blog.
