Forgive us for another gardening analogy, but ’tis the season.

When inspiration for a story strikes, it’s worth celebrating.

But it’s also worth remembering that an idea is a seed — small with great potential, if nurtured correctly.

Science-fiction writer Sarah Pinsker has developed a winning method for bringing those ideas to some sort of fruition, be it a short story, novel, or series.
