The list of tasks that comes with being an independent author can certainly feel daunting — and expensive.
Orna Ross and Sacha Black of the Alliance of Independent Authors want to make it seem less overwhelming and more achievable, especially for writers just starting out.
There’s no getting around some of the costs in publishing a book, but they devoted an entire podcast episode to ways in which self-published authors can produce quality books at a reasonable price to them.
