Marketing can feel like a serious undertaking for authors of all genres.
There are, however, a few extra considerations facing those who write literary fiction.
Joanna Penn hosted fellow author Roz Morris — whose work includes ghostwriting, craft nonfiction, and literary fiction — on her podcast recently to talk about some of those considerations.
In addition to defining literary versus genre fiction and discussing how to design a book cover that doesn’t neatly fit into a genre, the pair took on craft questions as well.
You can read a transcript of their conversation on literary fiction at The Creative Penn, which also includes a link to the audio.
