It’s a story that’s all-too-familiar to many adults.

Writer Therese Walsh felt like she had it made, professionally — and then the 2008 crash hit.

The dream book deal became a nightmare scenario, and while Walsh’s editor assured her that she’d done everything right that she could, she couldn’t help feeling shame over its lack of sales.

Nor could she muster much enthusiasm for continuing to write.
