For a long time, traditional publishers held that authors "couldn't" publish multiple books per year.

There's been a sea change in that attitude since Stephen King's Richard Bachman years, though, and indie authors at least are encouraged to release books as often as they can.

Easier said than done, of course, but the Alliance of Independent Authors has some help for you.
