A writer makes the case for seeing the small things 

Even if you're writing serious literature — or living in a serious world — one writer wants you to think small at times.

Specifically, author Audrey Burges suggests focusing on little details, from time to time.

It can prove to be a simple writing exercise, it can inspire a story, or it can add a much-needed dash of brightness in an otherwise heavy piece of work.
