But there's never a wrong time of year to think about how you can make things better.

Kristine Kathryn Rusch just shared an incredible post to last year's how writers fail series that will likely prompt a lot of pauses to reflect.

Its topic is an observation that late author Harlan Ellison once made to Rusch: "The problems in your writing are the problems in your life."

And Rusch doesn't shy away from sharing personal examples of this — so don't take it as a lecture from upon high, but rather as a tale from the front.
