The latest news roundup from the Alliance of Independent Authors is full of social media updates.
From TikTok, we have four new themed feeds available (though none of those themes are books); from Instagram, we have a broadcast chat feature called Channels.
And while there isn't much change in TikTok's in-app shop plans, ALLi News Editor Dan Holloway does find himself wondering whether such a feature will stack up against continuing strong sales from more traditional retail outlets.
ALLi also notes some changes to Amazon Kindle and speculates on their effect (or lack thereof) on authors.
