A writer's regrets for the viral opportunity that got away

Kristine Kathryn Rusch has previously encouraged authors, on her blog, to prepare for both the worst and the best to happen.

Writer Catherine Baab-Muguira is co-signing that particular advice.

She had a piece of writing catch on before she expected to receive much attention, and in her own words, she "wasted that viral opportunity in 2016 — fully, completely, in the most comprehensive and self-esteem-annihilating sense."
