David Gaughran acknowledges that the last thing authors probably want is another concept to juggle.
That doesn’t negate the importance of certain concepts, though, such as reader targeting.
Gaughran’s core advice on that topic is “aim your book exclusively at true fans of that genre.”
Don’t let the simplicity of that statement trick you into thinking it’s a cinch to follow, however.
